DC system for stable operation of the power system plays a very important rolein the ground or ring failure once it occurs, the system will reduce the insulation,thereby causing the protective device malfunction or reject trips. Such as high-impedance grounding occurred, the loop is grounded, AC-DC cascade to the groundand balancing these complex situations occur, along with on-site temperature rising,but not conducive to accurately locate ground. Two DC system there are many formsof wiring and power supply, the cause of failure of the ring there are many, not thenormal wiring or equipment failure, etc., will be the current system a serious securityrisk. Practice has proved that the loop troubleshooting requires a long time forcalculation, analysis, and the need to support a large number of field experience,which greatly reduces the troubleshooting efficiency and reduce the safety factor ofthe DC system.
