| In city parks, plant, is the most important element for constructing the landscape. Good plantscapes not only contribute to enhancing the taste of parks, outstanding regional characteristic, but also promoting the image of regions and cities. Therefore, now, in the construction and design of city parks, plantscapes become the focus, even as a key to the success of the entire design of the park. Because of different regions differ in environment, climate, vegetation, culture and custom, the research on plantscape design for city parks of different regions are significant.This paper based on the study and summarizes of others’ advanced experience, and the theoretical research of plantscape design for city park in southwest Zhejiang. First of all, started with plants which are the most important element in the park. And then studied the composition of landscape in the park, including the landscape of the whole and parts of plants with ornamental value, the landscape of a variety of plants groups and temporal landscape, space landscape, cultural significance, local characteristics, and other entities outside the extension of landscape; On this basis and summed up the main points of the city park plantscape design, including the basic types of landscape, design patterns, the choice of plant varieties, the combination of plants and other elements, design principle, etc; On the basis of theoretical research, in combination with the site survey of some city parks in southwest Zhejiang in the paper’s preparation stage, and chose three different types of parks in Lishui city as examples. Through the analysis and evaluation of plantscape design of these parks, the paper summed up the city parks in the region in the current situation of plantscape design, including the characteristics and deficiencies, proposed that park landscape should be consistent with local mountain ecosystem, called for creating plantscape with the regional style and local characteristics, and develop with characteristic of southwest Zhejiang park plantscape puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions. |
