| This article investigated the influence of coal quality characteristics (mainly basedon Shenhua Coal) on the combustion properties, introduced the furnace design content ofa tangential-fired boiler and analyzed the calculation methods and selection principle ofthe key parameters. Based on the above, combined with a wide range research of unitswhich has been put into operation and a huge amount of boiler information, thesimilarities and differences of Shenhua Coal and other bituminous coal boilers in thefurnace design were compared and analyzed. The design features of Shenhua Coal boilerin the structure size and thermal parameters were summarized, and the recommendedvalue of the furnace design parameters in the boiler of300MW and600MW were given.Morever, the development and application of air staged low NOXemission technologywhich is widely used in tangentially-fired shenhua coal boilers were summarized andanalyzed, and combined with an reforming example of the combustion system in acertain600MW unit, the pros and cons of two mainstream combustion system werecompared and analyzed from the aspect of economy, environmental protection and safety.Using the technology of numerical simulation, the furnace combustion conditions ofbefore and after burning shenhua coal in a certain tangentially-fired300MW boiler werecompared and analyzed. In order to solve the problem of the primary air sweeping thewall and the temperature at the bottom of the plates and the furnace outlet rapidlyincreasing, the optimizing adjustment on the velocity of the primary air were done, andthe results was satisfying. Meanwhile, by changing the distances from top primary air tothe bottom of plates and from the bottom primary air to the ash hopper, the influence ofthe changing of certain furnace structure size and themal parameters on the combustionprocess. |
