Abstract:With the rapid increase in the level of urbanization, rocketing urban population extremely increased the height and density of city buildings. As "reinforcements", residential areas sprung up to attract tenants, followed by a yearly rising fire proportion, highlighted potential fire hazards and growing fire risks. Since it is populous in the residential district, the consequences would be disastrous if the relevant fire management and emergency rescue were improperly when fires break out. It is a significant direction to investigate on this issue that how to do the scientific and rational fire risk assessment on residential areas, and provide an effective basis for the prevention and control of fires. The thesis is based on full investigation and analysis on the large number of residential areas, to find the fish risk source, and build an index system on fire risk assessment. Using scientific methods to determine the weight function of each index, and ultimately build up a mathematical model of the fire risk assessment, draw the conclusion of fire safety assessment after the quantitative assessment of the residential areas. Consequently, make a series of scientific, reasonable and feasible strategies based on the characteristics of residential areas. Content and production of this thesis are as follows:(1) Elaborate relevant concepts and analyze the fire risk. Elaborate residential district, fire and fire risk assessment and other related concepts. Comprehensive analysis of the fire risk is based on the description of the development of fire in residential areas as well as the identification on fire hazards.(2) Establish a index system of fire risk assessment for residential areas. Construct hierarchy index system through the factor analysis of fire risk assessment in residential district, and finally quantify the index weight function through the model of Entropy.(3) Construct an assessment model of fire risk for residential areas, and analysis it by examples. Based on the index system of fire risk assessment for residential areas, to establish the mathematical model of "gray correlation method". Meanwhile, take the Changsha Biguiyuan Venice residential district for example, and based on the research and analysis data and information, calculate and analysis it combined with those indexes and models that constructed in the thesis, to verify the feasibility and rationality of the proposed methods of fire risk assessment.(4) Improve the control strategies of fire risk through the innovative management in residential areas. To supplement the integrity of strategies via varieties of aspects, such as the systems, supervisory mode and the strengthening of the intermediary agencies’ participation, and ultimately provide reference and basis for the residential areas of fire safety management.
