With the extensive application of commercial concrete and pumping technology, the construction period has been shortened greatly. Because of this, cracks in cast-in-situ reinforced concrete floors appeared in varying degrees. The cracks will lead to leakage of floors, corrosion of reinforcing steel, carbonation of concrete and so on. Even more, the phenomenon will lead to complaints of owners and affect the using life of structures. This paper carried out the following works:1. The types, main features, formation mechanism and development process of cracks were analyzed by their concepts.2. On the basis of analyzing the factors of generating cracks in cast-in-situ concrete floors from design and construction, this paper carried out corresponding measures and discussed how to control the cracks by combining with engineering examples.3. In order to prevent crack better, this paper proposed integrated approaches whose meaning was considering various aspects reason and take corresponding measures from the multi-channel working procedure. These approaches indicated guiding significance to design and construction.4. Combining with an engineering example, this paper simulated cast-in-situ concrete floors by separate modeling approach. The result showed that it was feasibility for the finite element program to analyze cracks. Finally, this paper proposed prevention recommendations according to the weak position and process of cracks based on finite element program.
