The report of the Party’s18th National People’s Congress draw up an important forimproving the town and country development. The plan clearly pointed out to speed upthe modern agriculture, promote to increase the peasants income possibly, uphold andimprove the country’s basic management system and perfect the unified system oftown and country development quickly.The actual meaning of the reforming of “village in the city”. To reform “village inthe city” is the demand of constructing modern city and the inexorable development ofsociety. Also it is the need of achieving modernization and the well-to-do level in2020which is the goal raised at18th NPC.Firstly, the article puts forward the exposed problems during the period ofreconstruction village in the city by means of researching urban village at home andabroad. But it’s possible that when we solved the problems, we could take a roundaboutcourse. Then we have rethought these problems to find the methods and ways ofresolving the problem of village in the city.Secondly, the paper classified urban villages into four types: waterfront village inthe city, business district village in the city, the village with history and culture, and thecommon village. The article aims at reconstructing different villages in targetedways.This article mainly make an investigation of urban village in urban district inHandan. It chooses the topical villages, such as Liu Lin Bridge located at waterfrontland and business circle, Chuan Cheng Road with historic culture and situated atbusiness centre district and the Three Dyke Village seated at the border of city. It’sexpected that the study of later reconstruction village in the paper could be helpful.
