The resilience characteristics of the isolation system under different axialpressure is studied through the quasi-static test of the concrete filled steel tubularcolumnisolation system, the relationship between the expression capacity and thedisplacement is given, the formula for calculating seismic shear strength also is putforward. a numerical simulation analysis of an masonry structure is made, the seismicresponse of the isolated structure and the non-isolated structure under different groundmotionanddifferentpeak ground shakingare compared, the application and theisolation effect of the concrete filled steel tubular column isolation system aresummarized. The main conclusions are as follows:1. the diameter of the concrete filled steel tubular column and the value of thevertical load are the factors that affects the expression capacity and the displacementcurves of the steel concrete column isolation system, the expression capacity isenlarged with the increasing of the column diameter and the value of the vertical load.The seismic shear strength of the concrete filled steel tubular column isolationsystem associated with the positive pressure and the diameter of the column,Theformula for them can be expressed as followings:f=0.42D N+300D+0.0086N-29In the above formula: f is the carrying capacity of steel concrete column isolation system,the unit is kNN is the vertical load, the unit is kND is the diameter of the concrete column, the unit is m3. The vibration period of the masonry structures with the concrete filled steeltubular column isolation is two times lager compared with the common masonrystructures.4. The seismic response of the isolated structures and the non-isolated structuresare compared by modeling analysis with SAP2000,the seismic performance of theisolated structures is improved more than one time than that of the non-isolatedstructures.5. The solation effect of the concrete filled steel tubular column isolation systemis related with the site classification site categories,the isolation effect of the isolationsystem on ⅠandⅡSite is significant, the isolation effect of the isolation system onⅢ Site is slightly inferior.
