| China Railway Container Logistics Center,becomes important bases for development ofnational intermodal services and logistics services. In China’s " Eleventh Five-Year Plan",thedocument clearly states that the construction of18container logistics center. Main business ofRailway Container Logistics Center includes container transport, storage, handling, andsome ancillary logistics services. Nowadays,door-to-door services is going ahead like wildfirein Global Express.For bulk cargo and containerized cargo express industry,Railway ContainerLogistics Center provides door-to-door services similarly.As a hub of inland containertransport,Railway Container Logistics Center is closely coordinating with highways,waterways, aviation and regional economic centers.The Container Logistics Center not onlyimproves the efficiency of logistics and service levels,Stimulates regional container traffic,butalso expand our container transport network gradually.At present, eighteen Railway ContainerLogistics Centers have been completed by the end of2013.Most of the centers have been putinto operation,and data form center shows that operating in good condition.But we find someproblems in operating in such rapid development.Equipment and facilities of railway centerneed to be constantly adjusted to improve efficiency of the logistics centers,thereby increasingcontainer transport quality.Based on this, this paper designs optimization of RailwayContainer Logistics Center using computer simulation software.The advantage of eM-plantsoftware is Hierarchical design,the paper designs subsystem uses this advantage,finds outproblems of subsystem and proposes configuration rationalize resources.Finally proposesfeasible solutions of post-construction railway container logistics center and operationalimprovements.The main contents are as follows:(1) The first part of this paper gives a general overview of Railway Container LogisticsCenter, function and the layout.In choosing layout,facilities of railway container logisticscenter,we can learn from the port logistics.But they are not the same,according to railwaycontainer’s characteristics,facilities are not the same as the port’s.The article also pointed outthat the problems of railway container logistics center in operational planning andconstruction period.(2) From the operator’s point of view, Railway Container Logistics Center is a typicaldiscrete event systems. Petri nets can resolve a number of discrete event systems, complexrelationships, asynchronous, parallelism and other issues in discrete event system perfectly.inthis paper,we establishes a logical model Petri net system to represent below subsystem:arriving trans subsystem in container logistics center, door operation subsystem, containerloading and unloading lines operating system and picking and placing box operationsubsystem. (3) According to the logic Petri net model,the simulation model Process is establishedby using eM-Plant simulation Plat form software.The mode includes operation of containertrains, loading and unloading operation and main yard work, yard handling auxiliaryoperations and outdoor truck operations.Based on layer structure features of eM-plantsoftware,the subsystem is being integrated into a whole system for discussing.(4) Year2012data of the Railway Container Logistics Center are being fitted into thesimulation model.A lot of related parameters are input to the simulation model.Several testslater, the simulation results compared with the operational data of container logistics center,which verified applicability and feasibility of the model. On this basis, discussing the currentchannel number and number yard using simulation models and concluded. |
