The key to improve the boiler efficiency is reducing the thermal losses. In thethermal losses of the boiler, the waste heat loss is the big one. Reducing exhaust gastemperature to reduce heat loss is significant. In a result,reducing the exit gas temperatureis the main means to reduce the overall thermal losses.Firstly,The Thesis introduces the present situation of the#6boiler in Shiliquanpower plant, boiler heat balance of the unit and the effect of exhaust temperature ofboiler efficiency are discussed, the feasibility of reducing exhaust temperature areanalyzed. And combining the reality of Shiliquan power plant, several commonly usedprograms to reduce the temperature of exhaust smoke are re analyzed detailedly.finally,by extending the high pressure economizer heating surface to reduce the exhausttemperature are identified.Secondly, the structure and design principle of economizer are explained.Combinedwith Shiliquan power plant’s economizer arrangement situation, the feasibility analysisfor the retrofitting of economizer are analyzed. Eventually, the economizer specificextension scheme is determined. Extension transform part of the high pressureeconomizer are arranged in2150mm height empty flue in the backpass betweeneconomizer inlet header tank and economizer inlet header tank. and provides theextension of economizer arrangement and transform data in detail.Lastly, the effect of the high-pressure economizer’s alteration are analyzeddetailedly. Through the transformation of the high-pressure economizer,the exit gastemperature of#6boiler have been greatly reduced.The transformation haveandachieved good results and energy saving purposes, and get a better economic benefit.Through the transformation of high-pressure boiler economizer, the Thesis providesa300MW thermal power generating units’ detailed analysis of the process andrehabilitation programs of lowering the temperature of the exhaust gas,and put forwardfeasible suggestions for further improvement measures.To provide a reference for themajority of Engineering and technical personnel Engaged in the thermal powerindustrypower plants.
