Research On Environment Temperature And Humidity Detection System In Power Equipment Room

The power equipment room shall be closed in normal operation for conditionkeeping purpose. In general, the air conditioner is not able to start up and regulate thetemperature automatically after the AC power off restoration, and the ventilation ispoor in the machinery room, so the indoor temperature increases continuously, whichresults in shortening the service life of the electrical equipment or directly leads toequipment failure. The situation is even worse in hot summertime. For example, thereare39electric rooms in our company in the city, only2of which are satisfied with thecondition of constant temperature, while in the power supply enterprise in the towns,according to the electricity room design and relevant construction specification ofstate grid, it is not required to meet the requirement of keeping constant temperature.Therefore, it is extremely necessary to measure the ambient temperature in the electricrooms through certain measures.In this paper, a new type temperature measuring system, consisting of single busdigital type temperature sensor DS18B20and STC89C52MCU, is applied to measurethe temperature of the electric room by means of electric communication channel, andit is shown in the interface of electric network management automation system, sothat the dispatcher on duty is able to conduct real time monitoring on the ambienttemperature in the electric room. In the later period, the design of multipointtemperature measurement, adding humidity measurement, adding message alarmingsystem and infrared remote control, improves the performance of the system.The article specially describes the hardware circuit structure and the softwareprograming of the system, and introduces the function of MCU STC89C52and theworking principle of temperature sensor DS18B20. The design of this system issimple but multifunctional, the measurement is accurate, and the temperaturemeasurement ranges fully satisfy the safe producing requirement. The system can bewidely applied in every room in electric system.
