Railway is the main channel to transport coal in our country, according to statistics, the shipment of coal by railway has accounted for more than70%of the total traffic volume. At present, fully mechanized equipments are widely used in the efficient production of coal, in the process of mining coal much water need to be sprayed to control dust and the equipment temperature, which making the coal contains much water. Due to the cold winter in the north of our country, and the moisture of coal, the coal can be easily frozen together with carriages when transported by the railway departments, if don’t deal with it timely, it will bring much trouble to unload the carriages, and it also directly affects the economic benefits of railway departments and owners. Compared with the other frost thawing method, spraying antifreeze has the characteristics of small investment, quick effect, energy saving, etc. For these reasons, it becomes particularly important to develop a set of superior performance equipment to meet the requirements of coal train antifreeze spraying.On the basis of comprehensive analysis about the characteristics and the insufficiency of the existing antifreeze spraying equipment, and according to the requirement of coal train antifreeze spraying, a new kind of antifreeze spraying device with two different working function of lifting and rotating is designed. In addition, the digital prototype assembly model is established by Pro/E software and intuitively shows the space location, movement relationship and interference detection. Analyzing the stress, strain and modal of main components under load by ANSYS software, the results can ensure the static strength safety and obtain the structure dynamic characteristics. In the end, after set up virtual prototype in ADAMS environment, kinematics simulation analysis is carried out by using ADAMS/View module. As a result, the changing rule of the speed、acceleration displacement and the motor load torque of the structure in the working process of lifting and rotating are concluded. Due to the flex-rigid coupled model in ADAMS and the forced vibration analysis, the natural frequency and mode shapes of the entirety structure at low and high work position are calculated, and the frequency response characteristics of main components as well as the time domain response of the swing arm and spraying shaft structure under the action of working load are analyzed. Through the above analysis of antifreeze spraying device structure and performance can provide reference for the manufacture of physical prototyping and further optimization of structure parameters.
