In recent years, large-span spatial structure has become one of the fastest growing structure form all over the world, as people more and more considered about the requirement of the spatial structure, the structural system is becoming more and more complex, span has become more and more big, the selection of large-span spatial structure system and the construction technology is also put forward higher required. Reasonable structure system can make effective force path, and the structural weight is lighter, and the advanced construction method is not only beneficial to improve construction quality and safety, but also can greatly shorten the construction period to achieve the purpose of reducing construction cost. Based on summarizing the traditional construction methods for large-span steel structure at China and abroad, the author selects the reasonable structure for the800m-span large spatial steel structure, and work hard on the feasibility study of construction method. The author chooses a new kind of construction method-The Panda Dome Construction to be the appropriate construction method and completes the whole process of construction simulation for panda dome system construction method.This paper first introduces the development of large span spatial structure at home and abroad and the research results, then puts forward the necessity of the research of giant grid structure. In view of the large span steel structure at home and abroad, the author introduces several main kinds of traditional construction methods, then puts forward a new kind of construction method. The author has carried on the detailed introductions and summary for each construction method. Effective construction method should consider specific site features, structures, construction equipments and the requirements fo construction period and economic conditions.etc. As far as possible to achieve economic security of construction.On the basis of application of civil engineering construction mechanics in engineering, by the construction module of Midas, the modeling of the one-time whole first of800m-span Spatial latticed intersected3D beam system reticulated mega-structure should be established. And then carry on the static analysis and dynamic analysis of the structure, to analyze the feasibility of the structure form. Then the author has carried on the comparative analysis of various construction methods considering the construction process, the method of characteristics, the surrounding site requirements, constructions,equipments and such various aspects, finally selects an advanced panda dome system construction method. Through the finite element analysis software Midas/Gen construction whole process simulation, to verify the improved panda dome system construction method in the800m span cross stereo space grid structure construction feasibility.
