As a representative primary energy and clean energy for power generation, solarenergy is receiving more and more attention and solar thermal power tower system is themost extensive. Only by establishing a dynamic mathematical model of the tower solarthermal power generation systems, taking into account the integrity of the system(including the main and auxiliary systems) and the interaction of equipment componentsin operating,the effect of various factors change on the working parameters of solarthermal power tower system could be accurately analyzed. Model research on thedynamic characteristics of solar thermal power tower system is of great significance.Based on the integrated modular modeling software (IMMS) and the method ofdecomposing and integrating models of the complex systems, the10MW solar thermalpower tower system is divided into three subsystems, the concentrating collectorsubsystem, the storage subsystem, and the steam turbine power generation subsystem.The subsystems are broken down into various equipments and process aspects. Throughsimplifying the various equipments and process aspects and establishing themathematical equations, the general algorithm models are established. According to theworking principle and characteristics of wording fluids, the simulation model of10MWsolar thermal power tower system is established through calling and integrating thealgorithms. Two typical operating modes were chosen for simulation experiments. Thestatic characteristics of light intensity at1000W/m2and750W/m2,the dynamiccharacteristics of light intensity disturbance of10MW solar thermal power tower systemwere investigated in the simulation test. The trends of temperature, pressure and flowflux with light intensity disturbance are obtained, which provides a reference forlarge-capacity solar thermal tower power plant design and optimization of operation inthe future.
