ABSTRACT:As an important modern building material, Foamed cement composite roof panel has many advantages. It not only has a lighter weight than concrete structure, but also overcomes the disadvantages of the light pressure plate in aspects such as durability and waterproof. At the same time, its process of production is environmentally friendly, the materials of the Foamed cement composite roof panel can be recycled. Under the call of the country to promote energy conservation, the Foamed cement composite roof panel has broad prospects for development. However, as the revision of Load code for the design of building structures, the value of gust factor for the roof enclosure structure has changed, this make the design wind load increased, especially in the coastal areas such as Ningbo, Fujian and other areas that reference wind pressure is bigger. When the windward side of building has an entrance, the wind loads may enter and act on the roof panel, this will make the panel has a big wind suction, and may lead to a larger engineering accident. Therefore, this is an important research on the wind suction bearing capacity of Foamed cement composite roof panel.From the roof panel of the structure itself, and combine the bending capacity of plain concrete structure, we proposed a complete calculation method of the wind suction for Foamed cement composite roof, and get the basic wind pressure value of six common Foamed cement roof panels, At the same time, we verify the reliability of the theoretical calculations by test and numerical simulation methods.The whole idea of the article are:first, the internal structure of the roof system were analysised, according to calculate the bearing capacity of panels, main ribs, side ribs and the steel trusses, we preliminary analysis the failure modes and capacity of the roof panels, then, we extrapolated the basic wind pressure value the Foamed cement composite roof can bear; second, by the test study of the the common roof panels, we can verify the theoretical analysis and calculation of the wind suction; last, according to analysis the models of roof panels, we can verify that the theoretical methods are reliable again.
