Design And Research Of Smart Home System Based On Zigbee Wireless Network

With the progress of science and technology, the development of economy and the improvement of living standards, people began to pursue the high quality of life, so for the indispensable household environment, the safety, convenience and comfort also been concern. At present, the wired network of the smart home system were been widely used, but the complicated wiring severely affected the beautiful, extension ability of the whole system, then smart home products based on wireless communication technology is the current development trend. Now a short-range wireless communication technology named ZigBee becomes one of the most suitable technology for the application in the wireless network smart home system because it has many advantages such as low power consumption, low cost, and large network capacity.ZigBee network is the main part of the system, which used to complete the wireless transceiver and data processing. Firstly this thesis analyzes the characteristics of ZigBee technology, network topology and ZigBee protocol specification. In the hardware design of ZigBee node, this thesis chooses TI’s ZigBee chip CC2430, Combined with related peripheral circuit to complete the wireless network of smart home system construction of the hardware system.In the application design section,first, the function of the smart home system was put forward according by the actual demand requirements, and the overall design scheme.Then, based on the ZigBee protocol stack, the program of the ZigBee wireless network have been designed, and the each of function module have been designed according to the overall design. Finally, the whole form of the realization of the function power consumption and performance of the smart home system have been tested.The application of ZigBee in smart home system, gives it advantages on flexibility, scalability, and power consumption and has a high application promotion value.
