Design Research Of The Mechanical Underground Parking Garage

With the rapid development of China’s economy, many cities appeared parkingproblems, life and work of the urban residents caused many problems. Themechanical underground parking garage which this topic discussed to is an effectiveway to solve the problem. In this paper, the characteristics of the underground space,the commonly used mechanical parking equipment, and the different types ofunderground mechanical parking garage will be discussed.Mechanical underground parking garage is developed on the basis of commonunderground garage. In this paper, a certain common underground garage will beintroduced, and be compared with underground mechanical parking garage. In theresearch of underground mechanical parking garage, this type of garage can bedivided into two categories, one of which is half mechanization of undergroundcompound garage, combined with underground space and the characteristics ofmechanical parking equipment and the need for internal use, of the parking buildingspace in the parking lot, column grid, profile, ramp, entry elements such as carried onmore detailed analysis and discussion. The other is a fully automatic mechanicalparking garage, underground again to discuss it in the classification, characteristicsand spatial characteristics in the use of each type.Hope that through this article research, to give full play to the undergroundspace’s ability to store the vehicle.
