Transmission lines, as the key of the construction of smart grid and thelink of power transmission, is important part of the power system, once malfunction,will lead to the collapse of the regional power system, causing serious grid accident,only comprehensively monitoring the body and the surrounding environment of thetransmission lines, can ensure transmission lines safe, reliable, stable operation,therefore, the construction of transmission lines on-line monitoring is essential toavoid the accident of power network and guarantee the security lines.The article draws on the typical engineering experience of the domestictransmission lines on-line monitoring system, fully explores related technical supportof smart grid, starts application research on key technologies for transmission linesremote on-line monitoring system, in order to real-time monitor the the body and thesurrounding environment conditions of transmission lines. This paper mainlyincludes the front-end monitoring device design, front-end monitoring device andmaster station power supply design, monitoring data transmission communicationdesign etc, and focus on investigation and application design of on-line monitoringfor key hidden transmission lines, finally, analyzed the specific application effects ofsystem. Through accessed to the system, accumulated a large number of actualoperating data of lines, transmission lines safety management level and operationallevel had been significantly improved, achieved hidden dangers of lines "controlled,controllability, in control", and it provides important practical basis for developmentof smart grid and deepening of on-line monitoring.
