Along with the rapid development of science and technology, people awareness ofnetwork is more and more deeply。In recent years, from different disciplines researchers, including biology, mathematics, computer, economic, are more and more attention tothe complex network that becoming a hotspot. Urban public traffic network as animportant infrastructure of city passenger transport, is crucial important for the city’seconomic development and improving the level of citizen life. The planning andoperations of the bus lines have important influence on people’s travel. This article uses the basic theory of complex network, empirical research as theguide, starting from the network topology characteristics of Chongqing city publictransport system, according to the Space-L method to build four models, including thesite network of conventional public transit in Chongqing, conventional public trafficline network in Chongqing, the general public traffic network in Chongqing as well asChongqing general public traffic line network. Through the analysis of some importantparameters in the topology of complex networks, such as network node degree anddegree distribution, aggregation coefficient and the shortest path distance, and usingcomputer programming to analysis and statistics these related parameters to get theresults of Chongqing different modes of public transport network topology parameters.First of all, for conventional public traffic network in Chongqing, this paperestablishes the ground between bus sites for the node, whether there are bus linesconnected to the edge of the site network and conventional bus lines for the node, theline between whether to pass the same site as the edge of the network. And then tocalculate and analysis of the degree, degree distribution, clustering coefficient and theshortest path distance of the two network. Finally it is concluded that the regular publictransportation site network degree, clustering coefficient and average shortest pathdistance of2.49,0.115and14.0541respectively, and before both obey power-lawdistribution, the latter to obey Gaussian distribution, and for line network drawingresidents daily transfer to an average of2.2236times.Secondly, it is on the basis of conventional public traffic network in Chongqingadding rail transit to establish Chongqing general public transport network. Andaccording to the modeling method in the same view of the general public traffic network in Chongqing to calculate and analysis the site network as well as line network degree, degree distribution, clustering coefficient, and the shortest path distance. Finally, afteranalysis of the results, the related topological parameters of Chongqing’s publictransport network have got a certain degree of optimization after including rail transit. Finally, to summarize and analysis the research data of the paper, and then toattack Chongqing city public transportation nodes network by two different methods. Itis proved that the public transportation network in Chongqing under the deliberateattacks showed a greater vulnerability and under random attacks showed a greaterresistance of road. Finally, to propose some directions of follow-up study, as well asmatters needing attention.
