Urban public transport (UPT) has become an indispensable element of the urban communication system, even the city as a whole, which is tightly related with the improvement of citizens' life quality and the development of economy and culture. In this paper, regular bus transit (RBT) and bus rapid transit (BRT) of city communication system are the research target.Firstly, data search software named "virtual robot" is designed and implemented based on automatically collection of city bus transit data and data saved in the databases.On the basis of mass data statistics, the public transport networks of Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou are abstracted as complex networks. On the basis of graph theory idea, the stations and the lines between them are simulated as nodes and edges respectively. The complex characteristics of bus transit network are studied with the methods of Space L and Space P. As the statistic data shows that the public transport network of the three cities can be characterized as a small world. For system like a small world, Space P algorithm has stronger small world effect.On the ground of complex network research, least transfer scenario between bus stops is brought up through Floyd least-distance algorithm and scope prior search algorithm, in which weighted vertex (longitude and latitude of bus stop) of network is calculated through network weighted node (distance between stops). In this way, the bus transit network can be simulated as a complex network model, combined with least transfer scheme, finally comes to a transfer scenario based on best transfer and least distance. The algorithm has been testified by practical data from Hangzhou public transit, on the foundation of which, an efficient-based public transit search system is developed.Finally, integrating BRT system and normal bus transit, layout and distribution of BRT network, and the conformity technique between them are studied in detail through Hangzhou BRT system.
