As a new high-performance concrete, RPC exhibits many excellent performance. Compared to normal concrete, RPC has great advantages on weight and performance of bearing loads and so on. As for high performance of RPC, theoretical study and analyze on the stress performance of precast segmental RPC box girder which is used in72m railway pre-stressed.The technology of precast segmental box girders with external tendons has been applied and researched in the filed of our country’s highway bridge. As a safe, economic and practical construction method, precast segmental construction technology are combined to use in the engineering is a good way to settle the conflict between the quality and speed of bridge construction. In this paper, we combined with advantages of the external prestressing technique and precast segmental construction technology and designed the model beam to analyze the whole loading process and studied static performance of the beam. The high performance of RPC makes it possible that the box wall thickness can be decreased and no ordinary reinforcement and structural stirrups are used. The finite element models of precast segmental box girders, the key problem is how to simulate the interactions between joints. In thethesis,3D-FEM models of PBSG are established with contact elements which may simulate such interaction between joints. This paper had designed RPC integral box girders and RPC joint grouting box girders on bending and shearing resistance performance are analyzed. This paper is mainly about theoretical research and offers the reference for the RPC precast segmental concrete box girders with external tendons to design, research and apply.
