Schedule control is one of the three control objectives of project management, in the construction project, schedule management is particularly important, the three control objectives have intrinsic close contact, if there is a problem in schedule control, it will affect cost and quality of construction. Therefore, in the construction process, we should carry out scientific and reasonable plan on schedule.In the project construction process, there are all kinds of nodes and links, which will produce some uncertain factors; they affect the progress of the implementation of the plan. Schedule management guarantee period and make foundation for the whole project. Good schedule management can effectively reduce the management cost, reduce waste, reduce the loss of working time, and coordinate the whole project efficient propulsion. How to ensure the progress of the project has become the biggest test of each project manager. Based on the project of power industry, this paper comprehensively mastered the key node of the whole project, and systematically implemented the project schedule management, has the important research significance.In this paper, it based on fully absorbs related theory research results, and try best to adapt to China’s current legal and policy environment and project management system premise, established in accordance with the selected key nodes in the project schedule management of electric power industry and node control theory. At the same time, it use of project management theory, control theory, system theory, probability theory, statistics theory and management method, under the ideological foundation of control system, use modern project management theory, analysis the construction project operation mechanism, according to the characteristics and present situation, it studied the project schedule management comprehensively, and carried on the case analysis. The main results of the research includes changing the idea and the management innovation, exploring a new idea of management by example which instead of the previous stage, sub divisional management coordination, providing the beneficial exploration for engineering the project schedule management by using the system management thought, factor node and schedule impact analysis of engineering project and the use of management methods. For all, this paper is positive and significance for the project management and environmental harmony and balance. This research plays a positive role to enhance the project schedule control theory.
