In recent years, with the rapid development of the Fuping power network, the main network and the power supply capacity are strengthened. The development of Smart Grid has not only the practical significance for Fuping power company, in accordance with the Fuping "12th five-year" development planning, but also is an important boost for promoting the development of electrification demonstration county of Fuping.The thesis studies the typical connection modes of urban distribution network. In allusion to the status of mid-voltage distribution network in Fuping area, the thesis gives line-link feeders from different buses(substations) loop connection mode or cable-link feeders by hand in hand connection mode. The paper suggests how to keep the power grid safe and reliable in transition to the target.Based on the economy and reliability, the thesis sets up the mathematical model and objective function of the Smart Grid planning for Fuping. For solving this problem, it has taken into account different buses(substations) loop connection mode, the investment and renovation of device for distribution network automation. The particle swarm algorithm based on stable strategy makes the entire population maintain the status which is succeeded most possibly. Meanwhile, it accelerates the algorithm approximate to the global optimization value, and easily obtains satisfactory solution of the decision-makers. It gives annual planning plan and investment estimation in Fuping area.Finally, the thesis gives planning scheme of mid-voltage distribution network. According to the planning scheme, it studies the development of smart residential community in Fuping and gives proper planning scheme.
