The Research On The Planning And Design Of Xinglong Park In Jinning County

Construction of Jinning Xinglong Park can not only improve the urbanecological environment, but also satisfy the demand of local residents for recreation, sportsand taste cultivation. Meanwhile, it has important significance in advocating green andharmonious Jinning and developing ethnic culture of Jinning.By referring to the ideas of urban park layout at home and abroad, this papersummarized situations and achievements about emergence and development of urban parksat home and abroad from the angle of the existing problems at present; meanwhile, itformed research on planning and design of Jinning Xinglong Park by referring to industrialstandard and relevant laws and regulations of the state, and gained the following researchachievements:(1) Through study on planning and design of urban parks at home and abroad, itconcluded five principles in planning and design of urban parks, covering principle ofadjusting measures to local conditions, principle of utilizing resources rationally, principleof comprehensive coordination, principle of carrying on historical context, economical andpractical principle, and principle of sustainable development.(2) Jinning Xinglong Park is themed by water landscape, and adorned by historicalculture and human landscape of Jinning; it starts from satisfying the demand ofsurrounding residents for recreation, relaxation and Kunming Park Expo. Its designphilosophy is to highlight water landscape, reflect harmony between man and nature, andfully express local culture; Jinning Xinglong Park will be made into an urban park with thecharacteristic of ecological waterfront landscape and the main function of entertainment.(3) It has been determined that Jinning Xinglong Park can be divided into fourfunctional regions which are main entrance activity region, core region of waterscape, parktour region, and cultural corridor region. Functions of main entrance activity region includeevacuation and activity space; core region of waterscape is the core functional region of thepark and the main gallery of enjoying the landscape; park tour region can meet therequirement of surrounding residents for physical exercise, create a playing ground forchildren, and build a fitness area for old people; cultural corridor region is the area forcatering, recreation and consumption. A landscape pattern of “one heart, one ring, andthree areas” has been formed.(4)9landscape nodes with distinct features have been designed, covering BoundlessSquare, Luofeng Diecui, Chunran Lufu, Quhe Yingri, Fenglin Changwan, Yudai Zhenliu,Huadao Qianying, Fangzhou Miqu, and Qingteng Jiyu. (5) Road system in the park has been planned, and it is mainly composed of majorpath and tour footpath; meanwhile, self-purification and circulation of water system havealso been designed.(6) In plant arrangement of the park, the original vegetation has been maintained.Cultural features of plant have been highlighted in landscape design by setting localism,diversity and innovation as the principles. Ground covers are mainly arbors like celtistetrandra, sweet osmanthus, pistacia lentiscus, pistacia weinmannifolia, melia azedarach,camphor, Prunus cerasoides, Malus halliana, trident maple, Japanese maple, Machilusyunnanensis, Magnolia delavayi, plum tree, flowering peach, weeping willow, Koelreuteriabipinnata, and michelia chapensis; aquatic plants cover lotus, water lily, Cyperusalternifolius, thalia dealbata, calamus, sedge, and Zizania aquatica.(7) Specialized planning for foundation and tour&service facilities of the park hasbeen worked out.
