| Urban comprehensive park is an important part of city green space system, with the social development, people’s values idea and needs change, the urban comprehensive park needs to be updated optimization.The original landscape can protect culture and ecological environment,create landscape quickly, cost saving, etc, played an important role in the park transformation. Landscape design can be optimized to make the park more beautiful art, more ecological nature, more culture, more efficient use of the park. But there are some problems of reserving and optimizing the original landscape, for instance incomplete laws and regulations, preliminary investigations is not detailed, some functional transform contradiction in park transformation, part of the original landscape quality is relatively poor and so on.This paper, through research survey of related literatures and cases, systematically studied the transform design of the urban comprehensive parks, landscape reservation and optimization design, etc., discussed the factors that affect landscape’ reservation and optimization, proposed the principles and methods of landscape’reservation and optimization, etc., combining with the design of Weifang Ziyiyuan’s transformation. Trying to provide the new ideas for other urban park plant landscape transformation design.The following results of the research are:(1) More and more attention to the study of urban comprehensive park reconstruction at domestic and overseas, the biggest difference between renovation and new construction at the site of the original landscape is handling, this article reviews the relevant researches the urban comprehensive park landscape transformation, put forward functional and landscape of urban comprehensive park, that the cure process transformation steps like doctors "look, listen, question and feel the pulse-four ways of diagnosis", the way of transformation is the optimization after the reservation, using "shape the whole landscape of local landscape space to create individual landscape elements forging", this layer by layer design of transformation, analysis of landscape space, elements, plants, etc.(2) In view of the existing problems in the landscape reserve and optimization design, to follow the holistic, iconic, ecology, human nature reserves and optimization principles, the methods like improve the protection awareness and professional knowledge learning of the participants, invite relevant experts to participate in the time, investigation to verify the original ground material comprehensively, Using the advanced Technology like3S, SBE and so on, can effectively improve the accuracy of the pre investigation.(3) Respect the original landscape spatial layout, style, visitors use habit, pay attention to each spatial connecting and unique, appropriate adjustments to the original spatial scale, color, form, to increase the number of landscape space, from the visual, artistic conception and function, constructs the optimization space landscape quality, content. The original terrain, water, construction, road, plant landscape should be reserved for use, ancient buildings, trees,industrial facilities and other legacy is the key protection, according to the development of the times and the needs of the people to improve landscape theme, functional.
