Many of the structure under seismic load present different level of damage, which could cause unpredictable loss. Along with the further development of earthquake resistant engineering technology, the seismic design theory has been updated form time to time. High-rise hybird structure with multichannel seismic fortification system, use more and more widely. Under such background, performance-based seismic design and performance evaluation are particularly important.On the basis of relevant theories and methods at home and abroad, the main contents and results on the hybrid structure are as follows:The prediction of displacement response ordinates of our team and the existing elastic displacement response spectrum compared and analyzed. The attenuation relations of the earthquake is more suitable for our country, and can be used in performance-based seismic design of long period and high damping, and meet the engineering requirements. The influence of magnitude, site class and source-to-site on displacement response spectra is discussed and found that the impact of the magnitude of spectrum and spectrum shape is the largest.Using the attenuation relations of elastic displacement response spectrum, a15layer of steel frame-tube structure is performed with direct displacement-based seismic design, and the results of pushover analysis indicate its feasibility. Moreover the result with direct displacement-based seismic design and the result of design according to current seismic codes are analyzed in comparison. This method can be set and adjust the performance goal, and can realize more performance goals of seismic design, and give designers greater create space. It has higher application value.The basic principle of the pushover analysis procedure is introduced in detail. The15layer hybird structure of direct displacement-based seismic design and another35layer hybrid structure are carried out the pushover method and capacity spectrum method are used to get the performance points, Thus seismic performance assessment and check the deformation properties of the structure.Through analyzing the15-story hybird structure by IDA analysis and IDA-based seismic fragility analysis, according to certain statistics, implement performance assessment of the probability significance. The designed structure can meet the requirements of three levels.
