With the global energy crisis and automobile exhaust on atmospheric pollution isworsening, looking for the alternative fuel of the cars becoming the focus ofworldwide research. Bio-butanol as a new clean fuels have been attached researchersgreat interesting, promoting the use of alcohol fuel mixed fuel is becoming more andmore important, therefore, researching about alcohol mixed fuel in the enginebecoming practical significance.Firstly, explaining the characteristics of the fuel mix of alcohol and gasoline,calculating and analysising the test fuel of the B00, B10, B20, B30’s low calorificvalue fuel, the theoretical air-fuel ratio theoretical mixed gas calorific value, latentheat of vaporization and other physical performance, a method is proposed to adjustthe engine adversely affect engine performance for butanol gasolinephysicochemical properties. Subsequently,comparing the performance of theWH125-6cylinder engine using B10,B20,B30and93test gasoline at full load andpart-load conditions. The engine performance of the power and economy after usingbutanol gasoline engine fuel have improved, HC and CO emissions re duced, butNOx emission increased.For the problem of theNOx mission was increasing, so need to adjust theparameters of the engine. In this paper, the engine’s torque and emission asthe target of a multi-objective optimization.First, Established the engine model inthe GT-power, and comparing the test result to verify the accuracy of the model;then the engine speed is3000r/min at full load conditions as an example,analysising the ignition timing, fuel ratio, compression ratio and intake and exhaustvalve timing angle on B30-butanol gasoline engine torque and emissions; Finally,an improved multi-objective particle swarm optimization of engine parameters,obtained negative torque a nd theNOx emissions of the Pareto frontier.Multi-objective optimization results can be seen, the engine tor que and emissionsperformance are two mutual restraint, the torque and emissions of gasoline fueledwith B30butanol has impr oved, this method provides reference and basis for theengine to adjust.
