Abstract/Summary:
Durability damage, for example steel corrosion and concrete carbonation, will lead to a significant decrease in seismic performance of reinforced concrete structures. However, current research focuses on the influence of corrosion on the seismic performance of individual components. Only few studies are about the whole structure. This paper is combined with the national natural science fund’Research on the seismic durability of reinforced concrete structures(51178470)’. Study the influence of durability damage on seismic performance of frame structure by using the finite element analysis software ABAQUS. The main work is as follows:(1) Modeling a selected structure by a finite element software, and do pushover analysis about it. And compared the results of it with experimental results, demonstrates the reliability and validity of the model and simulation method.(2) The push-over analysis of structures with different corrosion rates of reinforcement was conducted, and the load-displacement curves and inter-story drift angle curves were plotted. The performance of frame structures with different corrosion rates were analyzed under seismic actions and the formulas for seismic bearing capacity and inter-story drift angle of frames considering corrosion rates were fitted separately based on this.(3) The push-over analysis of with different carbonation depth of reinforcement was conducted, and the load-displacement curves and inter-story drift angle curves were plotted. The performances of frame structures with different carbonation depth were analyzed under seismic actions.(4) The push-over analysis of with different times of reinforcement was conducted, and the load-displacement curves and inter-story drift angle curves were plotted. The performance of frame structures with different times were analyzed under seismic actions and the formulas for seismic bearing capacity and inter-story drift angle of frames considering times were fitted separately based on this.
