Based on the durability of pavement, the Superpave is designed; construction and management whichhas a good structural stability, kidding resistant properties, and superior driving comfort, reduceoverloading damage improve pavement performance and prolong the life of the pavement structure. Theresearch on pavement materials and structures was carried out in order to address the current lack ofpavement durability and poor performance status.By doing researches on the mixture of asphalt with basaltic fiber and its capability of anti-rutting inhigh temperature, stability in water and the function of anti-cracking in low temperature, this thesisanalyzes the influence of the mixture of basaltic fibers of single length and those of plural length thatimparted on the mixture of asphalt and proposes the reasonable rate of them. Based on the local conditionof the flood area in the east of Henan Province, the author of this thesis comes up with three types ofstructure of pavement. By mechanical calculating and by analyzing the load-carrying capability of thestructure, he refines the design of the pavement and puts forward the scientific parameter of the pavement’sstructure.Compared with ordinary mixture of asphalt, the mixture of asphalt with basaltic fiber has been greatlyimproved in terms of its capability of anti-rutting in high temperature, stability in water and the function ofanti-cracking in low temperature. The basaltic fiber is more effective in asphalt of SMA than in that of AC.The reinforced effect of different combinations of fiber asphalt mixture is different and shows the laws varyin two different types of asphalt mixture,According to the statistics on the chosen structure of pavement, it tends to be sheared in the certaindepth under the road surface. When the pavement is overloaded, the shearing strength, the deflection valueand the tensile stress under the layer of asphalt will be increase with the increasing of axle load. When theaxle load turns to200kN, and the shearing strength on the road surface comes to the maximum, the roadsurface will be easily destroyed. If the load occurs to the pavement of asphalt both vertically andhorizontally, the shearing strength is far stronger than the vertical shearing strength, and the effect on thedeflection value and the tensile stress will be none. When it comes to certain depth, the horizontal load can not affect the shearing strength. With the optimizing analysis of the pavement, it can be concluded that thebase modulus value, the thickness of layer of asphalt and the thickness of the base should be controlled in acertain range.
