With the increase in the number of concrete filled steel tubular arch bridges anda variety of problems in recent years, the health monitoring system of concrete filledsteel tubular arch bridges have become a hot topic in the field of civil engineeringresearch. Sensor placement optimization and damage identification of the structural isthe core of the system.The paper in theory according to the structural features and behavioralcharacteristics of concrete filled steel tubular arch bridges, the optimal layout ofsensor and damage identification problems are discussed. The main contents are asfollows:Firstly, the paper reviews the composition of the health monitoring system ofbridge, development status and some problems about health monitoring system ofconcrete filled steel tubular arch bridge. About the main bridge of Anyang Wenfengoverpass bridge, I use large general-purpose finite element analysis software ANSYSto modeling analysis.Secondly, several kinds of common optimal layout and layout optimizationcriterion are introduced. On the basic of modal analysis,the automatic search iterativefunction of MATLAB to program. Accelerometers are optimal placed on the bridgedeck based on the MAC matrix.Finally, the structural damage identification methods are summarized. Theacceleration data can be obtained after the transient dynamic analysis of AnyangWenfeng overpass bridge. By using MATLAB programming, correspondingfrequency can be got by FFT transformation. Comparing with the measured frequency,we can determine the bridge injury.
