Concrete filled steel tubular arch bridge,as an emerging bridge.It has beautiful shape,high bearing capacity, strong spanning capacity and other advantages, It has been widely developed and applied in our country. Because of the construction scope of concrete filled steel tubular arch bridge is wide in our country, along with its span of beyond and the trend of light and high strength, the static characteristics and dynamic characteristics of the arch bridge has become a key issue.In this paper, the analysis method of arch bridge and the basic principle of dynamics are introduced in detail,with a span of 96 m and double track railway simply supported tied arch bridge as the engineering background in the Pearl River Delta, using general finite element software Midas to establish the model, and analyzing the static and dynamic characteristics of the steel pipe concrete arch bridge, It’s mainly reflected in the following aspects:1.Static performance analysis of concrete filled steel tubular arch bridge: The stability of the bridge is analyzed under the combination of the main force and the main force plus additional force,the influence law of temperature,wind load and other additional force on the internal force and displacement of the structure are given. Under the main combination,the effect on the internal force and deformation of the structure is analyzed with the replacement of suspender, and the change rules are given.2.The analysis of the natural vibration characteristics of concrete filled steel tubular:Analysing the change of the natural frequency of the structure with the damage of transverse bracing in different position and summarizing the influence law of the transverse brace on the natural vibration characteristics of the structure.3.Response spectrum analysis: According to the code for seismic design of Railway Engineerings and the position of the arch bridge,fitting seismic response spectrum reasonably.Analysing the effect of the internal force and deformation of structure by inputingdifferent direction and the combination of earthquake. and discussing the effect of the transverse brace on the seismic performance.4.Time-history analysis: using the existing anti-seismic theory to carry out the timehistory analysis of structure inputing adjusted seismic wave( EL centro wave,Taft wave and Artificial wave), considering three direction input, and contrasting different internal force and displacement response under P1 and P2 probability level.The results obtained in this paper can provide reference for the structure design and seismic performance analysis of similar bridges.
