With the improvement of the quality level of the electricity power gridtechnology advances and national requirements, primary frequency as an importantpower system frequency control techniques are increasingly subject to our attention.Currently, the Central China Power Grid through the development of incentivemeasures to implement effectively the unit once the unit to supervise the performanceof primary frequency regulation, analysis and assessment. Frequency modulation in agrid work of the whole experiment and coordination process, some problems began tohighlight: Because the grid when collecting data, that there is no remote datasynchronization time in transit, leading to the assessment results and actual FMinconsistent results. Therefore, the establishment of a local power plant appraisalsystem is imperative, data are taken from the local power plant, so that the assessmentresults are more accurate. Plant according to local assessment results, the qualifiedappraisal of the results of a complaint to the North China Power Grid, to safeguardtheir own interests. Meanwhile, the establishment of a local assessment system canimprove the power plant investment enthusiasm, to promote a more comprehensiveFM work, ultimately makes the whole network more stable frequency purposes.After introducing the topic in detail the background, the circumstances of thisthesis with their own assessment methods introduced in North China Power Grid andpower plants, designed a primary frequency appraisal system. In the process ofdesigning and developing the system, we took the incremental development model todesign such modules as the listener module, packet analysis module, real-time datastorage module and a FM calculation module, which realized real-time dataacquisition and analysis capabilities. Meanwhile, we designed a complete set ofassessment algorithms for the unit’s primary frequency performance, and used theclassic C/S model to satisfy power plants on-line monitoring towards units.Shared memory technology was used in the development of listener module,multiple with parallel processing technology was also involved to achieve various kinds of functions in this module. Considering the actual needs of the plants, serialcommunication technology was adopted to achieve data storage and forwarding.Meanwhile, on the basis of analyzing the characteristics of the system data, this paperpresented a way which combined the configuration files in XML and the sharedmemory access methods, as well as the multi-threading technology to achieve betterreal-time data storage to meet the requirements of real-time needs for big data, thusrealizing of the monitoring towards the FM function of the unit once.Finally, the system was tested in Jiaozuo Power Plant Unit1,results fromprimary frequency modulationand manual calculation results were compared andanalyzed,which showed that the system couldmonitor the units in a precise and stableway,therefore, it improved the stability of the grid frequency.
