As the result of the theoretical line loss calculation, the line loss rate is animportant parameter. It is used to evaluate economy for the power companies andguide the work to reduce line losses. The structure and operation parameters ofdistribution network is complex, there are lots of differences in line losses. Traditionaltheoretical line loss calculation cans not fully real-time reaction actual line losses. Inthis paper, making full use of the real-time date which comes from distributionautomation systems, I have developed the real-time monitoring and theoretical lineloss calculation of the distribution network system. The real-time line loss rate ismore practical and precise; it eliminates the problems posed by the data transmissionand the time difference and provides more help for the line loss management.This real-time monitoring and theoretical line loss calculation of the distributionnetwork system uses real-time data to calculate the line loss in real time. Through theresults displayed in real time on the wiring diagram, realizes real-time monitoring andline loss calculation based on graphical.This system uses the SQL Server database to design the system data structures,such as the structure and parameters of the data. It is used to receive the real-time dataand storage line loss calculation results.I have developed Visio Drawing Control through VB programming language anddesigned a variety of calls Visio drawing control in VB interface program. Graphics iseffectively controlled by these programs, so that it can meet the power systemdrawing claim. The development of the power system drawing components dieachieves the power system drawing. This development model is different from thetraditional drawing program. It avoids the bottom of the development process. Thisdrawing program is used in real-time monitoring and theoretical line loss calculationof the distribution network system in the final.I have developed the universal power system graphics capabilities and line losscalculation specific functions in this system. Universal features include graphics filesNew, Open, Save, and page setup, Printing and other functions. Each element has the function such as moving, rotating, color setting, attribute parameter entering and soon. Specific features include traverse checking all the graphic elements, nodeidentification, automatic numbering, circuit topology and data generation and thereal-time display of operating parameters.This system can count up the statistical results of loss calculation and generateExcel and Crystal Reports. The line loss management workers can keep track of theanalysis of each section loss. User can discover the problem and take effectivemeasures for reducing losses in time by comparing the actual loss. Through practicalexamples, the powerful graphics and real-time computing capabilities are verified inthis system.
