Space Structure Evolution Arid Driving Forces Of Yining City

The development of the city is a continuous process, because of regionaldifferences, every city has its own unique spatial structure and development trajectory,and closely related to social and economic development. With the development ofeconomy, science and technology innovation and the arrival of the information age,transportation mode and production tools had a huge change, so that the evolutionform of urban spatial structure is becoming more and more complicated. So toconduct a comprehensive study for a typical single urban space development systemhas important theory meaning and realistic meaning.Yining, in the middle of the Ili river valley, is a typical valley type city, thespecial terrain condition determines the development of its spatial structure isstretched along the river extended to the both sides of the mountain. Based on thespatial evolution and using remote sensing and geographic information technology,this paper makes information extraction and dynamic analysis to12years of Yiningcity space land use changing information, then according to the relevant humanitiesand social economic statistics, using principal component analysis to do the analysisof social and human driving forces of urban spatial structure evolution of Yining, theresults showed that:(1)From urban land use structure types of Yining, during the three years--in2000,2006and2011, the proportion of green space and urban unused land is bigger, andthis is due to the valley terrain Yining is located. And the proportion of constructionland is increased year by year.(2)From2000to2011, great changes have occurred in urban spatial land use ofYining City, in terms of the results and the changes and change speed, change ofurban construction land is more prominent:extend from the center to the surroundingcity and the expansion along northwest of the Ili is obvious. Spatial structure of the city center is typical of group type spatial structure, mainly composed by the maincity and the West District (Cooperation zone), the function of Cooperation zones aremainly residential and industrial, with the largest scale of construction and therelatively compact layout, is the main gathering area of population.(3)Sums up that in the driving factors of the spatial structure evolution, thepopulation growth, economic development and industrial structure changes are themain driving factors of urban spatial structure change. In addition, government policyalso has impact on land use and its changes.
