Landscape Design Research On The Main Street Of Small Towns

The street is the skeleton of the city,it is the most intuitive impression of a city.The street is a card of the city,it is show the city’s appearance and image.Especially in small towns has its own history and culture.Through the main street in small towns,landscape of small towns can represent the city’s overall impression.The city of Ordos is located in the southwest of Inner Mongolia autonomous region.Ejin horo banner is located in the eastern of Ordos, it is considered as the core area of ordos’s strategy.The study area of this paper is in the Ejin horo banner,it is ALeTengXiRe town.The TongGeLang street and Civilization road are two main road in the town of ALeTengXiRe town, it is status in the whole urban landscape. TongGeLang street is the main road to meeting peopie.Civilization road is main greenway. In the two main road intersection area it has Business center.The two main road’s landscape directly determines the overall direction of the future urban landscape to Ejin horo banner.This paper through to analysis of the current situation of The TongGeLang street and Civilization road,it include the geographical characteristics,spatial pattern,cultural characteristics and landscape characteristics, and points out that the design concept.Under the guidance of the overall design conception, drawing landscape design sketches.Combined with the collected data on landscape design sketches to supplement, modification.Draw the street landscape design master plan, floor plan of each node, city street landscape furniture, pavement drawings and green planting diagram, etc.The street must make the poeple as the road’s importent factors,so it street can improve the image of the Ordos.Also thourgh this street langscape design will reflect Ordos’s culture and ethnic characteristics.
