There are a large number of mountain cities in the eastern and western china, buturban traffic is often mainly on rail transportation, municipal road tunnel of singledevelopment mode, the underground expressway network is very rare.With the rapideconomic development, urban core seven expansion and lift gear upgrades, and railcomplex traffic is increasing. The bridge and tunnel connecting engineering appearsmore and more in the city. The most significant feature of the bridge and tunnelconnecting engineering is between bridge and tunnel existing the mutual influence onthe design and construction aspects. And the current studying on the bridge and tunnelconnecting engineering of the city at home and abroad is very limited, so the bridge andtunnel connecting engineering research is particularly important.This paper use the cortical research, numerical analysis, rely on the ChongqingYuzhong connecting tunnel project to study the complex proximity bridge and tunnelhybrid structure construction technology in the city. This paper analysis of themechanical properties of the bridge and tunnel proximity of hybrid structure in theconstruction process for similar the complex bridge and tunnel connecting engineeringdesign and construction to provide the reference.It’s investigated that the current in the mountain and city, according to theabutment position and the bridge and tunnel structure for the bridge and tunnelconnection form to classify, for the similar protect to provide the reference.Using the finite element analysis software MIDAS/GTS, the3-D dynamiccalculated model of the bridge and tunnel proximity hybrid structure is built. Itsimulation analysis of two different excavation sequence of the bridge abutment andline six track. It also simulation analysis of the open tunnel excavation affecting thebridge abutment and the line six track. The results showed that abutment excavation hasaffected the completed line six rail of the main station in the vicinity of the bridgesection, but line six rail excavation has less affected the completed abutment. And theopen tunnel excavation has made the line six rail lining of stress and displacementsubstantially increasing, but it has less affected the abutment. So we should strengtheningmonitor the line six rail in the stage of the open tunnel excavation.It’s also researched that the characteristic of the segment in design and construction,the construction methods of tunnel portal in ill geology conditions and abutment construction methods when bridge and tunnel connection. It relies on the ChongqingYuzhong connecting tunnel project to introduce the abutment construction technologyand open tunnel excavation methods and the matters needing attention under the bridgeand tunnel proximity connection. It also proposed the protection measures of the line sixrail when the open tunnel is excavating.
