Distributed energy metering system, which based on wireless sensor networks and distributed calculation, can be easily installed without cutting down power, so it is extremely suitable for energy efficiency evaluation and electricity monitoring. In this paper, the services of distributed metering system and its mapping scheme with WIA are mainly researched based on user requirements.Firstly, the theoretical basis of distributed energy metering system, that is, WIA and IntelliGrid Methodology are analyzed. Detailed studies include WIA protocol stack, network structure, primitive services and the design scheme of IntelliGrid Methodology. Then, the user requirements of distributed metering energy system are concluded after analyzing the impacts of different stakeholders in the relevant domain. And the overall framework is then created as well as application scenarios. On the basis of requirements analysis and framework design, the information model is extracted to UML. With functional diversity method, information model is divided into function sets, including device information, measurement&monitoring, electricity tariff and event control. Finally, the service primitives and interface of system are designed for WIA. With proposing relationship between service primitives and information model, the C/S, P/S, and report interfaces are designed to appropriate primitives. And interface between distributed energy metering service and WIA is successful implementation.
