Abstract/Summary:
Intelligent substation is an important foundation and support of the smart grid, a data source of the running network, an execution unit of smart grid. Now, the research on smart grid has become a world-wide hot point. A new age is coming for the construction of intelligent substation. However, the devices in substation are technology base and the protection system is the key to safe and reliable operation. Its digital process directly affects the development of smart substation. Therefore, according to the present situation, smart grid cannot develop without the support of a strong protection system. At the same time, the high informationization of the intelligent substation also puts forward new requirements for time synchronization system. In order to ensure the real-time transmission of information, report and process system fault timely, realize the reliable operation, accurate and effective reliable synchronization system is indispensable.In the paper, the developing process, corresponding standards and technology are firstly introduced. Then the substation situation of Hegang is introduced and the key technology of synchronization, protection and communication system are also discussed. Furthermore, the protection system design principles are promoted and the configuration on each equipment is also considered. In addition, in terms of synchronization, in this paper, through summarizing the various conventional synchronous traditional way, draws a comprehensive and effective joint synchronization scheme. And the system configuration of the scheme are expounded.This paper aimed to provide an effective, practical and feasible intelligent digital substation protection and synchronization system solutions, hoping to provide some ideas and experience, promote the implementation of feasible schemes, strive for intelligent substation protection and synchronization of system technology development.
