With the increasing capacity of the units, the suitable experimental platform has not been studied in the laboratory taking into account the dynamic characteristics of units in the AGC control process. New energy, especially large-scale wind power integration into grid has brought a complex power system stability issues, but there has no one suitable power system simulation tool be able to study the power stabilizing process of the wind. Therefore, this article presents the design method of source-grid coordinate co-simulation control system based on RTDS, and mainly studies the interface technology of the system.The source-grid coordinate co-simulation control system consists of three modules: power simulation module, grid simulation module, dispatch system simulation module. Functions of each module, key interface technologies between each module and implementation methods are described in detail.Power simulation module interacts data with RTDS grid module through optical fiber communication interface card GTFPGA.Thermal power and hydropower simulation machine connect to the grid simulation module through interface control modules built on RTDS, interface control modules receive mechanical power reference value from detailed simulation machine to regulate actual output of generator. Non detailed simulation generator use power frequency control module which built on RTDS and receives dispatch instruction to regulate actual output of generator. Wind farm simulation machines access to grid simulation module through wind farm custom interface control module which developed on RTDS/CBuilder platform and receives power instruction from wind farm detailed simulation machine to regulate actual output of wind farm. RTDS exchanges data with dispatch system simulation module through Ethernet communication interface GTNET-DNP and serializer module and corresponding point mapping file. Power system simulation module interacts data with dispatch simulation module through RTDS.In this paper, a method of source-grid coordinate co-simulation control system is introduced; the interface technologies among three modules are completed. The correctness and feasibility of interface technologies are proved, and the overall functions of the source-grid coordinate co-simulation control system are verified by simulate actual wind farm operating conditions with Mengxi grid actual data.
