The spent fuel still has massive decay heat after being unloaded from the reactor core. Currently, there are many research about the spent fuel pool of the nuclear power, and little about thermal-hydraulic studies for spent fuel assemblies. At the same time, there is rarely no research about the thermal hydraulic analysis on a single rod of the spent fuel assembly under the spray cooling condition, the thermal hydraulic analysis on a single rod of the spent fuel assembly under the spray cooling condition of this thesis take important place in this study.Meanwhile, the thesis project based on the cooling system of spent fuel pool failure, developing a spent fuel rod surface film evaporation model program independently. The main task of this program is that after the AP1000passive safety spent fuel pool cooling system failure, analysis a single cold shower to cool them by spraying liquid film on the spent fuel rod surface while convective heat, and through independent research and development of fuel rods spray film evaporation model to calculate the film temperature, the temperature inner and outer shell temperature of the single spent fuel rod,and the liquid film thickness of the spent rod and so on, the film evaporation model study develop the further calculation and prediction of the work of passive cooling system.
