Grab is a kind of widely used in loading and unloading bulk fetching device, with its unique structure, reliability, coordination and stable way to work, compared with other fetch device has obvious advantages. With the rapid development of the grab bucket, its type is also becoming more and more. Grab the main widely used in ports, mines, waste plant and so on. Grab according to its shape can be divided into more than double disc grab and grab. In engineering work, disc grab more because of the particularity of the jaw plate structures, its use is often more than double disc grab. At present, the domestic scholars and experts on the research of the pairs of disc grab, grab both home and abroad the analysis of the data and literature reading, the past research is often to harrow shear type grab, grab dredger, dredging grab and seed cotton grab grab such double jaw plate more, and the analysis of multiple disc grab is few and far between.More disc grab is a special device in the grab, jaw plate because of the food material is deeper, to grab particles larger bulk, usually for scrap steel, coal, ore, etc. Due to the particularity of the jaw plate structure, can work under the relatively poor working conditions. Therefore jaw structure features of good or bad is directly related to the work device of the grab bucket of scraping effect.Based on3d design software SolidWorks and finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench as the design platform, based on disc grab bucket volume0.7m3to design a prototype, combining with the grab bucket in the work of actual working condition, finite element analysis was carried out on the grab a jaw plate, finally realizes the grab for the optimization design of the jaw in ANSYS Workbench. In this paper, the research has the following several aspects:1、from the aspects of theory analysis of the working principle of grab, and choose a material and motor. Through the mechanical analysis of grab jaw, select two partial load and full load condition, and carries on the load calculation. For the next step to grab jaw laid a theoretical basis for the finite element analysis.2、the application of SolidWorks software disc grab more three-dimensional model is established, the grab jaw in partial load and full load under the condition of two kinds of conditions intensity, the foreshadowing for grab design optimization. 3, the research dynamic characteristic of the jaw and the weak link of constraint modal analysis, get the corresponding frequency and vibration model, locate the prone to fracture. Through jaw in full load condition to study its stability, and improve the structure of the jaw, to improve the stability of the whole structure.4、in order to improve the structure and working characteristic of grab jaw, the optimized design module of ANSYS Workbench itself bring to grab jaw topology optimization and size optimization design, according to the corresponding optimization results to determine the improvement plan, so that the structure and working characteristic of grab.
