Bridge rotation construction refers to the construction method that the bridgestructure is made in a non-design axis position and then put in the predeterminedposition through rotations. Horizontal rotation construction method is one of those. Itis applied for rapid, secure and efficient construction for bridge. It also could decreasethe influence on the operation of railway. Because of the unique advantages, thebridge horizontal rotation construction method has been widely used in recent years.In order to ensure the safety of the bridge construction and bridge construction quality,we must monitor the whole process of the construction of bridges to make the bridgedeflection and stress state are comply with the design requirements.Based on the cross urumqi-kuitun high-graded highway overpass bridge as theengineering background, this dissertation studies how to use the theoretical analysisand simulation calculation to monitor the bridge construction process to ensure thatthe bridge stress and deflection to meet the design requirements after the bridge iscompleted. This dissertation mainly includes the following research work:(1)Research on the key technology of horizontal rotation constructionThe dissertation researches on the key construction technologies of the bridgerotation system, the frictional loss experiment of prestressed pipeline, the balanceweighing experiment, rotation process control and the design calculation of the framesystem of cast-in-situ box girder.(2)Finite element simulation analysis of horizontal rotation constructionThe dissertation makes use of the finite element software Midas/Civil andMidas/FEA to make simulations and analyses of the main girder, frame system andthe rotation system, analyses deflection and stress of the main girder during everyconstruction phase and extracts the relevant date.(3)Research on monitoring and control technology of horizontal rotationconstructionThe dissertation determines its corresponding monitoring content through the principles and the methods of construction monitoring and the division ofconstruction phase. It makes use of the theoretical calculations, measured resultscomparison and analysis to control bridge deflection and stress of each constructionphase. It provides a reliable guarantee for successful rotation of the bridge.This dissertation provides experience for rotation construction of the bridge ofthe same type in the future.
