With the rapid growth of urbanization in our society and the promotion of people’s living standards, rapid expansion of traffic and urgent need for fast traffic environment leads to the improper use of snow melting agent and manpower investment. Additionally, Northern winter cities exist a series of water problems that have serious water pollution, lack water resources and reuse system, which make the city not only caught in the dilemma that has water resources but can not be used, also suffer huge economic losses and heavy environmental pollution burden. However, as a material beautifully landscaped basis which can relieve the atmosphere of depression, city snow resources constitute an important part of the northern geographical and cultural characteristics, both become an ideal place for leisure, tourism and vacation in winter,and played a great role on protecting the ecological environment. Resources of snow and ice landscape development are promising, but the research as water resources utilization is extremely weak in snow resources. Therefore, the study that grasp the relevant theory and practice technology by Using landscape places to collect snow resources is an important way to reduce urban traffic pressure and alleviate water shortages, which has important guiding significance for building an ecological winter cityFirstly, it points out that rarely scholars are studied from the perspective of landscape design for snow resource utilization at present, which based on a considerable literature and current situation of snow resource on the development and process. Secondly, the necessity and feasibility of urban snow utilization were referred, and the application of new technologies and advanced concepts of snow resources on the collection and utilization in Japan and European countries before further put forward the sustainable development methods of snow resources on the collection and utilization. From the perspective of the overall urban landscape design, macro guidance and regulation level, medium design level, micro technology aspects are proposed to provide a theoretical foundation for landscape designs on snow resource utilization in winter city, which directs at the low utilization and collection rate of resources, the lack of the cultural integration, professional cooperation and the irrational disposition of plants. Specific methods were summed up as follows:(1)On the macro-control level, mandatory or incentive policies, laws and regulations that can stimulate people’s initiative and give full play to the collective power of the masses should be formulated about the utilization and collation of snow resource. Additionally, combine the multivariate snow and ice culture with representative places in every district to explore the establishment of snow and ice culture industry chain and the comprehensive and characteristic development model of resource utilization;(2)On the Medium design level,some landscape design methods are proposed which is opening the surrounding ground, creating northern landscape plant communities, increasing new pavement characteristics, and establishing rain and snow water collection systems according to the re-integration of landscape elements,the snow quality on the different underlying surface types, winter leisure venues degree, green area, etc.(3)On the microscopic technical level, combine the water landscape engineering technology that is artificial water power cycle, aquatic plant communities, ecological filters, and wetland restoration with the underground thermal energy engineering technology that is ground source heat pumps, heating cables and concrete to establish a good and stable multi-level plant community and ecosystem,which can strengthen the water self-purification ability and resilience, achieving double purification of rain and snow double to realize the sustainable utilization of water resources.(4)As ShangZhi park in Harbin as a case study, aiming at the existing problems on landscape design in this park, a reconstruction program on snow resources utilization and collection is designed using the three parties of above summary in line with the development trend of the times, achieving the organic combination of theoretical studies and case.(5) Through the research to obtain the conclusion is:the method by improving the design elements of urban landscape is feasible, which alleviate the shortage of water resources in north city of China, having a vital significance to improve urban traffic environment. |
