Attitude parameters are important for SUAV (Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) flight control system. It is an absolutely attitude measuring method that obtaining attitude information through detecting infrared radiation difference between sky and ground by infrared sensor. Rescarch on the key problems in practice application on SUAV attitude measure has important significance.This paper discussed general attitude measuring method in SUAV. Emphasize absolutely attitude measurement method which is based on infrared radiation. Development status. related technology application and product technical features are introduced.The rationale.imPlementation scheme and method of infrared radiation attitude measurement method has been researched and analyzed thoroughly in paper. We gives an in-depth analyze for key technical. Implementation scheme are analyzed and researched. An experiment platform for test feasibility of infrared radiation attitude measurement method is completed. The platform includes design of software and hardware of attitude measurement module and software of upper monitor.This paper presents a method to overcome dead zone, after researched the characteristic of dead zone. The method is use two series sensor to form a big FOV. The experiment result shows the method can overcome the dead zone and simplify the algorithm.Static feature and environment factor experiment is completed on the platform, the results shows it can be get attitude parameters in static situation. Operating environment has influence for measurement result. Use a four-rotor completed the dynamic experiment, the result shows the infrared radiation measurement method and inertial measurement method can fit better.The research results have guiding significance and reference value for application and research on SUAV attitude measurement method based on infrared radiation.
