Study On The Product Design Of LED Lamp Based On User Needs

The core value of the product is that if it could meet the needs of users, and only the product which is designed according to the user’s demand could have the hearty vitality. Technical factor is the important guarantee in product design, and the meet of the user’s demand largely depends on the degree of development of technical standards. Development of LED technology for lighting design brings great changes, and it could change as the user’s demand. How designers design products legitimately, according to user’s needs and combining LED technology features, to protect that the user’s needs are met, is the focus of this study.Relevant research results at home and abroad is researched and summarized in this paper, on these basis, the conclusion of user’s needs and technology are the key factors affecting lighting design, through the analysis of the development and characteristics of lamps, is formed. As user’s needs and technology research priorities, analysis the relationship between the two and lighting design, and build LED lighting design model based on user’s needs. All these could make LED lighting design, on the basis of relevant technical support, satisfy customer’s needs and provide better solutions for LED lighting design. This paper aims to provide for the future lighting design with scientific and constructive theoretical guidance and some reference for the designer’s work.The mentioned targets were achieved through two steps, which are illustrated in two parts of this paper respectively. The first part is about user requirement analysis. Representative user roles were created after a comprehensive analysis and classification of the user group. The various requirements in physiology, security, emotion and self-actualization of the representative user roles were excavated and further reflected into the design rules for lighting in shape, color, material, interaction, illumination, function and usability. The integrated user requirement model was built, which describes the relationship between user requirement and lighting design elements, and the detailed method of properly converting user requirements into design elements. The second part is about technical research and realization. The influence of technical aspects on mentioned lighting design elements was studied based on the detailed analysis of LED technology, and the integrated relationship model and the integration process model between user requirements and LED technique were built.And the LED lighting design model was constructed based on the analysis mentioned above.Finally, three lighting design cases were carried out to verify the theoretical results achieved in this paper, i.e. The lighting design method based on user requirement, integrated relationship model and integration process model between user requirements and LED technique.
