According to statistics, the body panels are almost produced by stampingprocess, and the body panel Stamping SE, stamping process design and mold designhas a significant impact on the body panel development, not only on product quality,production efficiency and the cost of production, but also on the body paneldevelopment cycle. Meanwhile, the body panel development cycle directly affects thevehicle development cycle,so the efficiency of the body panel Stamping SE, stampingprocess design and mold design has become a major factor restricting the rapiddevelopment of the automotive industry.CAD/CAM/CAE technology successfully promote the development of stampingdie industry,and designers are able to give full play to the designer’s subjectiveinitiative to improve the design efficiency and quality of design. But only improvingCAD/CAM/CAE technology constantly is not enough, Because the stamping dieindustry is a traditional industry, stamping simultaneous engineering analysis, designand die stamping process design need to rely on experience. As we all know, a class ofbody panels is mostly similar, then the knowledge of the past can be used to developthe body panels, which can keep Little Detours when we develop the body panels.As aresult, the body panels development cycle is shortened in a large degree.This paper studies the application of knowledge engineering and concurrentengineering in the area of the body panel stamping, and puts forward the process ofbuilding the automobile body covering parts stamping synchron ous engineeringknowledge model. For a class of body panels (fenders), this paper summarizes itscharacteristics and focal and difficult points of stamping, and the fender structure isoptimized qualitative by the orthogonal experiment to make it meet the requirement ofstamping. And the body panel stamping simultaneous engineering analysis knowledgemodel is established based on summarize and optimization.In addition, a body panel stamping analysis system framework is developed byusing Microsoft Visual C++6.0and UG/Open API,and the system is made up offour modules, which are body parts stamping process database, stamping die database, the body parts stamping synchronous engineering analysis and body parts stampingprocess analysis.This paper designs the body parts stamping process database and thestamping die database detailed,and the body panel stamping simultaneous engineeringanalysis knowledge model is integrated into the fender stamping concurrentengineering analysis module under the module of the body parts stampingsynchronous engineering analysis.Finally, the body panel stamping analysis system has been initially applied inpractical production with good results, and the working efficiency is improve greatlyand the body panel development cycle is shorten. In addition, the fender optimizedand analysised by the fender stamping concurrent engineering analysis module underthis system meets the stamping requirements. |
