As a new steel-concrete composite bridge structure,the advantages of the reasonable force of the corrugated steel webs structure, aesthetic and economic make such bridge have broad prospects,but,at present,the research of such bridge is still in its infancy in my country and it has gotten some achievements,but many issues are worthy of further investigation.Especially, the study of such bridges shear key is less and at present,it has no standardized specification in our country for the calculation of the roof and floor of the corrugated steel webs and the join key of the corrugated steel webs,so it can only reference local standards "road corrugated steel webs of prestressed concrete box girder bridge design specifications" and the foreign specifications.Therefore,it is necessary to understand the stress characteristics of the shear key and to build a set of design specifications and methods of the corrugated steel webs bridge.Compared with the traditional shear key,PBL is a new one which has the advantages of large carrying capacity, good ductility, manufacturing simple,good fatigue resistance etc.However,it has no standardized specification for such new shear key and it can only reference Japanese specification,so it needs to study the advantages and disadvantages of the two countries specifications comparatively,investigate structural performance to test the rationality of the specifications of our country and provide reference views to PBL shear key design of the large span the corrugated steel webs bridge of our country, this paper is on the background of the largest corrugated steel webs bridge-the new construction of Toho Xin’an Bridge (88m+156m+88m PC continuous box girder with corrugated steel webs) and compares to Japanese specifications for PBL shear connectors making some research,details as follows:1) It has introduced the features of the corrugated steel webs structure and the connection ways and types between steel and concrete and Summarized the current research at home and abroad.2) It has checked to Xin’an Bridge PBL shear connectors according to the explicit design flow of shear connection key by combining two Japanese ways and the checking process can be conducted mutual authentication with the native check ways,which providing comparison and reference for PBL shear key design of our span corrugated steel webs structure.3) Using the ANSYS has analyzed the finite element model of PBL shear keys and conducted parametric analysis to understand the effect of parameter changes to such shear key.4) Compared with the finite element parametric analysis and test results and the results of each formula has cleared various parameters of the PBL shear key to the performance influence of the force of the PBL shear key and uses the finite element software to conduct the accuracy of analysis of PBL shear key.
