All kinds of new types of bridges coming into people’s view with the development of bridge research. As a new kind of composite bridge, prestressed concrete(PC) composite box-girder bridge with corrugated steel webs appeared in early 1980 s. Its unique structure Ensure the clarity of the force, top and bottom concrete flanges assume most bending moment, and corrugated steel webs assume most shear, This type of structure reduced loss of prestress effectively and can be more economical and lighter. This paper adopts model test, finite element analysis and model experiment method to study the connection between the Flange plate and steel webs in the Finite Element Simulation systematically. There are the main conclusions:(1) First of all analyze mechanical behavior of the Continuous Box-Girder with Corrugated Steel Webs systematically. Quote the a series of theoretical analyses of the flexural behavior including shear and bending resistance relating to this new structure. To make sure the Theoretical analysis and calculation.(2) Three different analog forms has been used to model the connection between the Flange plate and steel webs in the Finite Element Simulation, analyze the principles of mechanics. Based on the cantilever beams, use the three different analog forms to calculate its static and dynamic characteristics, and the results are compared with the theoretical calculation. The results show that the computing result close to but less than the theoretical value, satisfied design and construction requirements.(3) The test models of box girders with corrugated steel webs are designed and constructed for the test. The load-disaplacement relationship, longitudinal stress distribution, natural frequencies and vibration modes of the single-chamber girder and continuous girder are measured, which provide the experimental basis for the subsequent the static and dynamic characteristics analysis through the three different analog forms.(4) The single-chamber girder and continuous girder finite element models are generated through the three different analog forms, calculate their static and dynamic characteristics, and the results are compared with the theoretical calculation. The results show that calculation results through the three different analog forms are close to test values, which confirmed the conclusion obtained in test and proved the correctness of finite element model. In terms of the modeling efficiency,MPC method is better than common node type and embedded method. In summary, Satisfying the accuracy requirements of the situation, MPC modeling method is the optimal choice.
