The Study Of Green Space System Planning For Townlets Located In South Jiangsu

Southern region of Jiangsu is an abundant area owning rich resource andunexceptionable natural landscape. Various townlets closely distributed in South Jiangsu.The feature of green space system has shaped uniquely owing to the advantages of thelocation and fertile recourse in Southern areas of Jiangsu. On the other hand, under thesituation of ‘city and countryside’ integration and ‘new socialist countryside’ development,on account of the bond function (linking urban district with suburb) provided by townlets,the challenges and opportunities have been identified for creating a better condition forgreen space system development.Based on the study of the features reflected in the planning layouts of townlets locatedin South Jiansu, the distinguished characteristics of green space system have been analyzedin Southern regions of Jiangsu in this thesis, which attempts to discuss not only thestrengths of the townlets progress in that area but also the problems facing during thesystematic planning of green space system for townlets in South Jiangsu.In macroscopic view, based on the interconnection of green space, the plaque，galleryand base material can be applied to analyze the ecological features of linear ecologicalspace.After that, various planning layouts of green space should be further studied forclassifying green space systematically into five categories (public garden, productiveplantation area, attached green space, green buffer and others respectively) and meanwhile,suggestions are provided.At last, on the basis of the features analyzed of townlets in Southern areas of Jiangsu,the development approach and construction target can be concluded, which is to developthe ‘landscape of small town’ that is full of vitality and life to shape the quality space and environment for the residents in townlets of Southern regions of Jiangsu.
