On this basis, the author summarized the characteristics and functions of the Lagerstroemia Specialized Garden.Secondly, based on the theory of landscape aesthetics, the science of color and the sustainable development, the author discussed construction site conditions, planning and design principles, overall layout, zoning, landscape forming, plant configuration, designing of the Lagerstroemia Specialized Garden. At the same time, by doing status research and looking throngh the relavent documents, the author analyzed the flowering period and flowering duration of100different Lagerstroemia species in Shangyang city, as well as introduced its landscaping.Finally, based on the above theories, the author take the Lagerstroemia specialized garden of Du Jiachong as an example. Therefore, the advantages and disadvantages of the base status are concluded by the targeted analysis of current location, history and culture, regional environment, and etc. The scientific layout and rational partition can be carry out according to strengths and weaknesses and the "low-carbon green-ecology" building park concept.
