Hydraulic pumps are important power components providing flow in hydraulicsystems,among which axial piston pumps have most wide spread application.Since thequality of hydraulic system are more strictly required,it has been pivotal to develop themanufacturing and functioning of axial piston pumps.This thesis set up kinetic model of swashplate axial piston pump,specificallyanalyzing the kinematic characteristic of cylindric and conical type axial piston pumps,and the relation between the swashplate and the stroking piston while the swash plate isspinning.Analyzed the principle and the characteristics of pressure compensated control,loadsensing control and power control,combine the kinetic model,established motion controlsub-module and swash plate load analysis sub-module that were applicable for axialpiston pumps by using AMESet.And variable chamber sub-module and variable leversub-module were developed based on the functioning features of variable pumps and thevariable displacement mechanism of constant power control.Integrated the sub-modules to AMESim to frame simulation models of three kindsof variable pumps,analyzing functioning features and got pressure-flow rate dynamicresponse under three distinct ways of controlling,respectively.Furthermore studied theinfluences of valveplate area,the stiffness of controlling valveā€™s spring,the stiffness ofthe stroking piston,the diameter of damping holes,the dimension of controlling valveand variable displacement mechanism,etc.to pressure,flow rate and dynamicperformance.In order to obtain better performance,elucidated the influences of those parametersto system performance as a reference for future designs.Since got reasonable designranges,which had been optimized by genetic algorithm,those data can be adopted incomparison of control characteristic curve of the three kind of variable pump.The shatf was flexiblized in consideration of the influence of deforming to thepump. By comparing simulation results,it was proved that our research is effective inanalyzing A4V axial piston pump.
